We recently received a frantic call from one of our clients, a
salesperson at Ralph Lauren (Biltmore Fashion Park).
She'd just spilt a blueberry protein shake all over her Ralph Lauren Ricky canvas satchel and wanted
to know if there was anything she ought to do.
My advice? Take a clean white cotton towel and absorb as much of
the shake as possible. Don't wipe. Don't rub. And then wait. We'll
be there in a half hour.
So I raced down to Ralph Lauren and picked up the satchel. It
had all the bells and whistles: a white canvas body with brown calf
skin leather trim and custom Italian hardware. Adorned, of course,
with blueberry shake.
We then got to work. Four days later we delivered the Ricky
satchel to our client: blueberry protein shake gone; off-white
canvas spotless and bright; leather trim clean and glistening.
