From 1985 to 1990, Jon Lovitz portrayed Tommy Flanagan, The
Pathological Liar, on Saturday Night Live. As Tommy Flanagan,
Lovitz would tell outrageous lies in an effort to make himself seem
important. His devious look, hand rubbing and nervous speech made
it clear he was making up lies, one after the other, on the spot.
After a particularly outrageous lie he would often add the
catchphrase: "Yeahhh! That's the ticket!"
It is my understanding that Tommy Flanagan is the marketing
genius behind these dry cleaners:
Perchloroethylene (aka perc) and synthetic petroleum are green,
and organic and environmentally-friendly dry cleaning solvents.
