A November 28, 2011 post on the voxsartoria blog reminded me of the Jack
Taylor bespoke garments we care for at RAVE FabriCARE.
Voxsartoria posted an interesting three minute You Tube video featuring Jack Taylor,
bespoke tailor to the stars, with the commentary: "Old Hollywood
tells you about tailored clothing through it's Delphic oracle, Jack
Taylor. But, will you listen?"
If you read and review the voxsartoria blog on a regular basis
and pay attention to the extraordinary bespoke garments (and shoes)
that are featured on that blog, you'll know why that video
resonates with the author.
In a 2002 New York Times article, entitled "The
Dresser", actor Dennis Farina says of Jack Taylor"
"Jack came highly recommended by
Dean Martin. I'm a bit of a clotheshorse, and having a tailor-made
suit is a big deal. Jack makes it from scratch, and it never leaves
his shop. Other tailors say they do, but they don't. With Jack's
suits, you don't wear the suit, the suit wears you."
When you own bespoke garments of the caliber made by Jack
Taylor, you need a garment care organization that knows how to care
for such garments on a daily basis. You need RAVE FabriCARE.
Here are some examples of Jack Taylor garments we've cleaned and
hand pressed over the past few weeks:
